The country’s rich tradition is seen in Chinatown , Arab street and Little India-all ethnic areas with a distinct character, and modern Singapore is seen in Suntee Business areas, Orchard road shopping areas and many theme parks , gardens and clark quay.
Singapore City
An orientation tour of “Garden City” begins with a drive along Orchard Road passing the Istana. The first stop is to visit little India. We move on to “Suntee City” which is a modern cluster of impressive building in the heart of the city with the “Fountain of wealth”. Drive past the Parliament House, the imposing Supreme Court and City hall that overlooks the historic St Andrew’s Cathedral and the Padang. Our second stop will be the Singapore’s waterfront where the Merlion is situated alongside the Esplanade Singapore’s version of the famous Sydney Opera House. Here, we can also see part of the once busy Singapore River and the Grand Fullerton Hotel, which once served as the General post Office. Next, we drive past the business and financial district to the oldest and most famous Chinese temple “Thian Hock Keng”, built in 1839. We move on to Mariamman Temple. Our next stop will be Mount Faber, where we catch a panoramic view of busy port and the surroundings. A stop will be made at Jewellery factory for a demonstration on Jewellery hand-crafting. Our final stop will be at the Singapore Botanic Garden, the “Green Lung” of city center. Experience the calm & serenity of this 52 hectares garden. Sentosa Island-
Take a scenic cable car ride; across to Sentosa Island-Isle of Tranquility and catch a bird’s eye view of Singapore’s magnificent skyline and the world’s busiest port. Visit the Dolphin Lagoon where you can get a once-in-a lifetime opportunity to meet the rare pink Dolphins. The Merlion stands on a 23m high hillock overlooking Sentosa and offers a 360 degree view of Singapore’s southern shores. Next, the underwater world-Asia’s most exciting tropical Oceanarium that has 83m long acrylic tunnel which is home to some 250 spices of fishes. Enjoy Images of Singapore, where you can see the culture of Singapore and the history of how the Singapore from a fishing village, emerged as the one of the wealthiest cities of Asia. Enjoy a scenic ride via the Causeway Bridge, back to the mainland of Singapore.
Jurong Bird Park-
It is a must for bird enthusiasts and a pleasure for those who simply enjoy nature in all its beauty. Bird Park is a 20-hectare bird paradise that houses over 8,000 birds from more than 600 species around the world. The Bird Park Panorail provides a panoramic view of the park in air-conditioned comfort.
Visit the world’s largest walk-in aviary that showcases the region’s exotic and endangered species of birds. You can enjoy a close-up view of free-flying birds from Africa and South America in the tropical setting. Also, view the world’s highest man-made waterfall. You can also enjoy the amusing 25 minutes bird show.
Night Safari-
The world’s First Night Safari park , a beautiful and unusual natural jungle which houses 1,200 nocturnal animals from 110 exotic species that can be seen in their habitat , undisturbed by the subtle, artificial lightning . See tigers, striped hyenas, golden jackals, cape buffalos, blue sheep and the rare greater one horned rhinoceros. Night safari covers an area of 40 hectares and a tram ride through selected East and west Loop route is the easiest way to familiarize you with the large grounds. After the tram ride, your guide will lead you on a walking trail where you will be able to view some of the animals at close quarters. After which, you will witness the animal show. Singapore Discovery Center
Hear the past, see the present and touch the future at Singapore Discovery centre. It is a world-class attraction that offers fun and entertainment through high-tech and interactive exhibits.
